Description
La Marquise Beaubigney is a new range to us. The wines are produced by LGI in the south of France near the lovely walled city of Carcassonne. The wines reflect the warmth of the climate and the beauty of the surroundings with plenty of ripe fruit and balanced flavours. And they are particularly good value.
This Merlot has a deep colour and characteristic plum flavours with notes of bramble fruits. It has a rich and appealing texture with some more complex notes of spice on the finish. This is a generously flavoured, attractive red for current drinking.
