Description
This is Domain Road’s top white, from three blocks in the Defiance vineyard on Felton Road. It is dry in style, and pale lemon with clear hues in colour. The nose has fragrant aromas of melon, lemon curd, peach, toffee, honeysuckle and a hint of vanilla. The succulent palate is bright with nectarine, juicy peach and sweet citrus. A complex and concentrated wine with good minerality and a long juicy finish.
Food match: Firm flesh fish or seafood and subtly flavoured, simply seasoned poultry or pork dishes. Creamy avocado pasta.
