Description
This domaine is owned and run by Etienne Daulny, one of the real characters of the Sancerre region. He is thoughtful and energetic with a glint in his eye and a great sense of humour. Of perhaps more relevance he is absolutely committed to the long term health and sustainability of his vineyards and his wines are always great value.
A classic expression of Sauvignon Blanc, with grassy notes, tropical fruit and hints of blackcurrant bud. The palate is crisp and fresh, with beautiful minerality – a perfect match for seafood (especially oysters) and goat’s cheese. Good nose and intense fruit on the palate with a steely rich character.
