Description
This new wine from Il Falchetto is what they would term ‘entry level’ Barbera, whereas to us it is a fresh, fruity and most enjoyable red. It has lovely bright red cherry and berry fruit flavours, some spice notes and the characteristic sappy acidity. This is a balanced wine where there is plenty of ripe fruit to match the acidity and a lovely long finish.
A great wine with Italian food, especially tomato-led dishes.
