Description
This leading Beaujolais producer, headed by Philippe Marx, has won numerous awards for wine quality whilst retaining their reputation for value for money.
Winner of a gold medal in the Gilbert & Gaillard International Challenge, this wine is a delightfully complex JuliƩnas, from the Gamay grape. It has a deep purple red colour and aromas of red fruits with a touch of spice. To taste it full and rounded with powerful cherry flavours and notes of liquorice and black pepper. The finish is long, with ripe tannins.
This is a versatile, food friendly wine to enjoy with casserole dishes or cheese or simply on its own.
