Description
Château du Charnay is situated in the village of Sologny, between Mâcon and Cluny in the heart of Val Lamartinien in southern Burgundy. The estate has just over 3 hectares of Chardonnay vines surrounding the property, producing this wine under the Mâcon-Villages appellation. The vines are planted on gentle slopes facing East/South East and clay-limestone soils. This gives an attractive minerality to the peach-scented, ripely fruited flavours.
