Description
Rigal was founded in 1755 in Cahors, the original birthplace of the Malbec grape variety. Over the years they have built up a unique expertise with this variety from over 250 hectares of vineyards. ‘Les Terrasses’ is a great value introduction to their wines and to Cahors. It is medium-bodied, rich and fruit driven. There are aromas of blackcurrant, damson and a hint of wild herbs. To taste, the wine is supple and textured with black fruit flavours, slightly dusty tannins and a gentle spice on the finish.
